In its way this trial is illustrating just what a disaster this man would be at POTUS.

For four days he has fallen asleep in the court which could send him to prison.

And launched a tirade against his lawyer for not being aggressive enough. As in so many previous examples, he always thinks he knows best.

I can't see why he's not inside already, it appears to be an open and shut case, he falsified accounts claiming personal expenses as business costs to save tax. That is how they get them all in the end - fiddling tax, that's how they got Al Capone.

I am not sure why I am bothering but Trumps payment to Stormy Daniels would normally be considered a "misdemeanour" but has been "Trumped Up" by a corrupt system to a felony charge 8 years after the payment and 18 years after the alleged encounter at a golf tournament.

The prosecution alleges it was done to change the course of the election.

The problem I have is with a legal system that allows such a thing to happen clearly at a time to disrupt the political process.

I am not sure why I am bothering but Trumps payment to Stormy Daniels would normally be considered a "misdemeanour" but has been "Trumped Up" by a corrupt system to a felony charge 8 years after the payment and 18 years after the alleged encounter at a golf tournament.

It would have been merely a misdemeanour if he had simply paid up “hush” money and left it at that, however that would have left him open to bad press prior to the election, plus of course wouldn’t have gone down very well with his wife.

The “genius” that is Trump opted for a cover up, using a publisher and Cohen to make payments and quash the story, then continued with attempting to cover the payments as legal expenses, breaking a number of laws in the process.

New York State has been watching Trump for some time due to his dodgy dealings and finances, this time he presented the State with a clear case, not surprisingly they went for him, but contrary to much allegations and general lies, Biden and the Democrats have nothing to do with it, I don’t doubt for one moment that they are relishing seeing Trump called to account, but it clearly isn’t election nor political interference which of course is what mouth almighty claims.

Let’s also not forget, sure the ignorant base clearly believe the poor lamb is being victimised, but most of the country doesn’t, in fact the balloon held yet another fund raising event at Mar A Lago and criticised the donors for not giving enough, I’m sure that went down well.
