Winter is a great time of year to bring your group to WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre.

Martin Mere offers unforgettable days out where your group can take it easy while getting close to fantastic wildlife. There’s something for everyone from hand feeding rare birds to spotting kingfishers, water voles and dragonflies while taking a relaxing stroll, watching wild swan and bird feeds, discovering our mischievous otters, fantastic flamingos, white storks and lots, lots more.

Centre Manager, Nick Brooks, said: “Martin Mere really does cater for all types of groups at this time of year – from photographers, bird watchers, U3A groups, WIs and care home residents. Being outdoors is great for your health and being close to wildlife is even better, especially when you can see thousands of birds up close at our daily feeds from the comfort of warm hides. You can learn about the species from our wardens and then enjoy a warm **** in the café – all within close walking distance.”
